The Triangle Math & Science Tigers basketball squad (Apex, NC), lost 41-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC)

With the victory, Chatham Charter advances its record to 5-12 on the year. The Knights host Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to meet the Grizzlies in a 1A Central Tar Heel battle on Thursday, January 9. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a record of 7-2. Clover Garden School lost 64-39 in their recent non-league battle against Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC)

The Tigers now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woods Charter for a 1A Central Tar Heel battle on Tuesday, January 14. Triangle Math & Science will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 43-7 non-league win over Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 5-3.
