Arkansas High School Basketball - Conway overwhelms Little Rock Southwest
January 7, 2025: Conway, AR 72034 The Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored 87 points and limited the visiting Little Rock Southwest Gryphons to 22 in the Wampus Cats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wampus Cats now have a 18-1 record. They play next when they host North Little Rock for a 6A Central game on Friday, January 10. Conway will confront a Charging Wildcats team coming off a 39-33 league loss to Central (Little Rock, AR). The Charging Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Little Rock Southwest falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Cabot (Cabot, AR) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Central game on Friday, January 10. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 8-11. Cabot won 38-24 in their recent league game against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR)
