Oregon High School Basketball - South Albany thwarts Crescent Valley
January 7, 2025: Albany, OR 97321 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), observed South Albany's basketball team knock off Crescent Valley by a score of 51-40.
The Redhawks (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Albany (Albany, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Mid-Willamette challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, West Albany was knocked off by Silverton (Silverton, OR), 52-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Friday, January 10. Crescent Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 64-33 league loss to Central (Independence, OR).
