In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Destrehan Wildcats basketball team scored a close 52-46 triumph over the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 8-17 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Eagles confront the Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Warren Easton will attempt to better on its 11-13 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 57-27 non-league loss to Slidell (Slidell, LA).
