With the victory, Highlands advances its record to 14-14 on the year. The Owls travel to Burbank (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 15-11.

The Golden Bears now own a 6-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burbank for a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Friday, January 10. Edison will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-40 league win over Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-11.
