January 7, 2025: Ethan, SD 57334 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the visiting Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD), observed Ethan's basketball team edge Wagner by a score of 47-43.
The Rustlers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon (Avon, SD). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Avon edged Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 58-24, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Raiders encounter the Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD) in a A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Wagner will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 49-34 league win over Parker (Parker, SD).
