January 7, 2025: Groton, SD 57445 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) and the visiting Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD), observed Groton's basketball team knock off Warner by a score of 51-34.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Clark/Willow Lake prevailed over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD), 45-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Monarchs encounter the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Warner will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 57-35 non-league win over Ellendale (Ellendale, ND).
