Wisconsin High School Basketball - Homestead can't hold off Whitefish Bay
January 7, 2025: Mequon, WI 53092 Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes (Whitefish Bay, WI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), 56-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Whitefish Bay advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Blue Dukes host Waukesha North (Waukesha, WI) to face the Northstars in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Northstars enter the match with a record of 2-9. Waukesha North lost 80-25 in their recent non-league match against Muskego (Muskego, WI)
The Highlanders now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a North Shore match on Friday, January 10. Homestead will face a Black Hawks squad coming off a 53-39 league loss to Port Washington (Port Washington, WI). The Black Hawks record now stands at 6-6.
