The Marvin Ridge Mavericks were victorious over the host Porter Ridge Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 58-43 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Mavericks face the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, January 8. Marvin Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
