January 7, 2025: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) and the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), observed Nazareth Academy's basketball team overwhelm Metea Valley by a score of 72-38.
The Roadrunners (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 6-12 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 82-46 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
