In Tuesday's league test, the Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), by a score of 78-6.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 8. Paradise Honors will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Skyhawks come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Pima (Pima, AZ).

The Matadors (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Paradise Valley was routed by Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ), 42-38, in a non-league test.
