With the victory, West Harrison advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Hurricanes host Hancock (Kiln, MS) to face the Hawks in a 6A Region 4 match on Friday, January 10. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 15-1. Hancock won 54-19 in their recent league match against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS)
The Panthers now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Picayune for a 6A Region 4 match on Thursday, January 9. Pascagoula will face a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 59-30 league win over George County (Lucedale, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 9-9.
