Arizona High School Basketball - Red Mountain crushes West Point

January 7, 2025: Mesa, AZ 85207

The Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 67-22 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Mountain Lions now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Queen Creek for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Red Mountain will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-27 non-league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, West Point falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Dragons host San Luis (San Luis, AZ) to play the Sidewinders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Sidewinders go into the bout with a record of 4-9. San Luis lost 29-24 in their recent non-league bout against Duncan (Duncan, AZ)
