Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), 40-25 in a league match.

With the victory, Stamford advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Black Knights host Darien (Darien, CT) to face the Blue Wave in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Blue Wave enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Hilltoppers now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warde for a match on Friday, January 10.
