New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Pius X toppled by Gallup
January 7, 2025: Gallup, NM 87301 Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) fans went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team knock off the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 46-36 in a non-league challenge.
The Bengals (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.
In their next game, the Sartans encounter the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. St. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
