New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Pius X toppled by Kirtland Central
December 7, 2024: Kirtland, NM 87417 Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 57-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kirtland Central upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Broncos travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 1-2. Los Alamos lost 51-21 in their recent non-league match against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM)
The Sartans now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. St. Pius X will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 52-22 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
