In Tuesday's league contest, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the West Brunswick Trojans.

The Screaming Eagle (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, New Hanover nipped North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
