Vermont High School Basketball - Rice Memorial sneaks past St. Johnsbury Academy
January 7, 2025: South Burlington, VT 05403 The Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers to 42 in the Green Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Green Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Bellows Free Academy for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8.
With the loss, St. Johnsbury Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-1.
