January 7, 2025: Picayune, MS 39466 The Picayune Maroon Tide soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting West Jones Mustangs to 1 in the Maroon Tide league victory on Tuesday.
The Maroon Tide now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hattiesburg for a 6A Region 3 bout on Thursday, January 9.
With the loss, West Jones moves to 10-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a 6A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-6.
