Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH) and the host Continental Pirates (Continental, OH), saw Ayersville's basketball squad hold off Continental by a count of 46-43.

With the victory, Ayersville upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Pilots host Tinora (Defiance, OH) to play the Rams in a Green Meadows challenge on Friday, January 14. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Tinora won 44-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Kalida (Kalida, OH)
