Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats (Augusta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA), 72-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westminster Schools of Augusta upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Trojans in a GISA AAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 8-2. John Milledge Academy won 64-36 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) in a GISA AA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Briarwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
