New Jersey High School Basketball - DePaul Catholic can't hold off Kennedy
January 8, 2022: Paterson, NJ 07522 The DePaul Catholic Spartans basketball team (Wayne, NJ), was nudged 57-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ)
The Knights now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clifton for a Big North - Liberty battle on Tuesday, January 11. Kennedy will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 71-67 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Ironmen come into the Big North - United battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Don Bosco Prep edged Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ), 58-41, in a league battle.
