New Jersey High School Basketball - Eastside holds off DePaul Catholic
February 12, 2022: Paterson, NJ 07501 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ) and the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), saw Eastside's basketball squad hold off DePaul Catholic by a tally of 49-48.
With the victory, Eastside improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Ghosts travel to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ) to confront the Bulldogs in a Big North - Liberty challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Passaic County Tech lost 80-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. DePaul Catholic will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ).
