Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato West holds off Stewartville
January 8, 2022: Stewartville, MN 55976 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) and the host Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN), saw Mankato West's basketball squad hold off Stewartville by a tally of 66-59.
With the victory, Mankato West improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Scarlets host Mankato East (Mankato, MN) to confront the Cougars in a AAA Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Mankato East won 67-35 in their recent non-league challenge against John Marshall (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Stewartville will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
