Georgia High School Basketball - Brentwood overwhelms John Hancock Academy
January 8, 2022: Sandersville, GA 31082 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) and the visiting John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), saw Brentwood's basketball squad wallop John Hancock Academy by a tally of 67-30.
With the victory, Brentwood improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA) to confront the Buccaneers in a GISA AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Briarwood Academy won 59-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Nathanael Greene Academy Patriots (Siloam, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. John Hancock Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 64-26 non-league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
