The David City Scouts basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Milford Eagles to 36 in the Scouts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Scouts now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymond Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 11. David City will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 39-34 non-league win over Centennial (Utica, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Syracuse nudged Louisville (Louisville, NE), 39-27, in a league contest.
