Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE), 44-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sutton (Sutton, NE) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Sutton won 51-24 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Utica, NE)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals (Doniphan, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Thayer Central will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Ord (Ord, NE).
