January 8, 2024: Berne, NY 12023 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs (Berne, NY) and the visiting Canajoharie Cougars (Canajoharie, NY), saw Berne-Knox-Westerlo's basketball squad wallop Canajoharie by a count of 73-39.
With the victory, Berne-Knox-Westerlo upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 2 Western - Hudson challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Mayfield lost 70-61 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY)
Next up, the Cougars play the Fonda-Fultonville Braves (Fonda, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Hudson challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Canajoharie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
