California High School Basketball - Valley Torah overwhelms Desert Christian
January 8, 2024: Lancaster, CA 93536 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Valley Torah Wolfpack (Valley Village, CA) and the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), saw Valley Torah's basketball squad wallop Desert Christian by a tally of 85-41.
With the victory, Valley Torah improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA) to play the Griffins in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy lost 72-61 in their recent league challenge against St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA)
Next up, the Knights play the Legacy Christian Academy Lions (Valencia, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Desert Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 70-55 non-league win over Newbury Park Adventist (Newbury Park, CA).
