January 8, 2024: Kirby, AR 71950 The Kirby Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Taylor Tigers to 33 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oden for a 1A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Kirby will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Magazine (Magazine, AR). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-14.
The Tigers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Blevins (Blevins, AR). The Hornets enter the 1A Region 7 contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Blevins was routed by Bradley (Bradley, AR), 86-31, in a league contest.
