January 8, 2024: Woodbury, CT 06798 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) and the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT), saw Nonnewaug's basketball squad hold off Thomaston by a tally of 69-64.
With the victory, Nonnewaug improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Terryville (Terryville, CT) to confront the Kangaroos in a Berkshire challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Terryville won 59-58 in their recent league challenge against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT)
