New York High School Basketball - Southampton crushes Port Jefferson
January 8, 2024: Port Jefferson, NY 11777 Southampton Mariners (Southampton, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Port Jefferson Royals (Port Jefferson, NY), 80-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Southampton upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Mariners host Babylon (Babylon, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 11 A/B-6 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Royals play the Southampton Mariners (Southampton, NY) in a Section 11 A/B-6 bout, on Friday, February 2. Port Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
