Missouri High School Basketball - Marshfield crushes Aurora
January 8, 2024: Marshfield, MO 65706 Marshfield Bluejays (Marshfield, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO), 70-39 in a league bout.
With the victory, Marshfield upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Sparta (Sparta, MO) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Sparta won 40-36 in their recent non-league bout against Strafford (Strafford, MO)
Next up, the Houn Dawgs play the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO) in a Big 8 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 58-50 league win over Monett (Monett, MO).
