Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Beaver holds off Central Valley
January 8, 2024: Beaver, PA 15009 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) and the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), saw Beaver's basketball squad hold off Central Valley by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Beaver improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA) to confront the Bridgers in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Bridgers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Ambridge lost 79-17 in their recent league challenge against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 49-32 league win over Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA).
