Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) and the visiting Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA), saw Blacklick Valley's basketball squad wallop Conemaugh Valley by a count of 61-37.

With the victory, Blacklick Valley upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Shade (Cairnbrook, PA) to play the Panthers in a Western Pennsylvania challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Shade lost 59-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA)

Next up, the Blue Jays play the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Friday, January 12. Conemaugh Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
