Maryland High School Basketball - Fallston tops Rising Sun
January 8, 2024: North East, MD 21901 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) and the host Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD), saw Fallston's basketball squad knock off Rising Sun by a tally of 46-35.
With the victory, Fallston improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. C. Milton Wright won 44-36 in their recent league challenge against Elkton (Elkton, MD)
Next up, the Tigers play the North East Indians (North East, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Rising Sun will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 58-33 league win over Bohemia Manor (Chesapeake City, MD).
