Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL), 66-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westmont upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Sentinels host Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Willows Academy won 45-43 in their recent league bout against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL)

Next up, the Bison play the Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Fenton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Tomcats go into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 65-20 non-league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
