Illinois High School Basketball - Westmont tops Aurora East
December 28, 2023: Aurora, IL 60505 Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 32-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Westmont upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Addison Trail (Addison, IL) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Addison Trail won 51-37 in their recent non-league bout against Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL)
Next up, the Tomcats play the Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Aurora East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 51-37 non-league loss to Addison Trail (Addison, IL).
