The McKinley Tech Trainers basketball team (Washington, DC), was overwhelmed 47-9 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC)

The Tigers now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a DCSAA battle on Wednesday, January 10. Jackson-Reed will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 68-55 league loss to Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 6-5.

The Trainers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ballou (Washington, DC). The Knights come into the DCSAA battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Ballou was overwhelmed by Eastern (Washington, DC), 50-26, in a league battle.
