January 8, 2024: Pocomoke, MD 21851 Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mardela Warriors (Mardela Springs, MD), 51-10 in a league bout.
With the win, Pocomoke upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD) to play the Eagles in a Bayside - South bout on Thursday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Snow Hill lost 55-14 in their recent league bout against Parkside (Salisbury, MD)
Next up, the Warriors play the Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Mardela will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 33-8 non-league loss to Greenwood Mennonite (Greenwood, DE).
