California High School Basketball - Westchester overwhelms University
January 8, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90045 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), saw Westchester's basketball squad wallop University by a tally of 69-35.
With the victory, Westchester improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Gondoliers in a Western challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Gondoliers come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Venice won 54-33 in their recent league challenge against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. University will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Yankees come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 82-41 league win over Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA).
