January 8, 2025: Houma, LA 70360 The Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA), 59-10 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Delcambre for a 2A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Houma Christian will play a Panthers team coming off a 41-20 non-league loss to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-14.
With the loss, Grand Isle falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to First Baptist Christian (Slidell, LA) to play the Eagles in a C District 8 bout on Friday, January 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-7. First Baptist Christian lost 68-24 in their recent non-league bout against Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA)
