Missouri High School Basketball - Sturgeon nips Pilot Grove
January 8, 2025: Pilot Grove, MO 65276 In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Sturgeon Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 57-54 triumph over the Pilot Grove Tigers.
The Bulldogs (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Westran (Huntsville, MO). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Westran nipped Community (Laddonia, MO), 75-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Community Trojans (Laddonia, MO) in a Central contest, on Thursday, January 9. Pilot Grove will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 75-22 non-league loss to Westran (Huntsville, MO).
