In Wednesday's league contest, the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 87-40 triumph over the Fort Bend Bush Broncos.

The Bulldogs (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Ridge Point was trounced by Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX), 74-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 contest, on Saturday, January 11.
