In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Loudoun County Captains basketball team scored a close 42-36 win over the Tuscarora Huskies.

The Captains (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Park View (Sterling, VA). The Patriots come into the Catoctin contest with a 0-5 record.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Independence (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Tuscarora will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
