In Wednesday's league contest, the host Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team scored a big 64-14 triumph over the Rancho Mirage Rattlers.

The Aztecs (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights go into the Desert Empire contest with a 13-3 record.
