January 8, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70115 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), saw Newman's soccer squad prevail over St. Charles Catholic by a count of 4-0.
The Greenies (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Benjamin Franklin tipped Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Comets battle the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Cajuns enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA).
