January 8, 2025: Manchester, CT 06042 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) and the visiting South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT), witnessed East Catholic's ice hockey team hold off South Windsor by a score of 3-2.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans come into the Central Connecticut - North challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Simsbury was nipped by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North challenge, on Saturday, January 11. South Windsor will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Guardians come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 4-1 league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT).
