January 8, 2025: Colfax, CA 95713 Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), 59-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Colfax upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to face the Pirates in a match on Friday, January 10. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 6-5. Wheatland lost 65-62 in their recent league match against Center (Antelope, CA)
The Matadors now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a match on Friday, January 10. Mira Loma will face a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 61-51 league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 5-7.
