Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), 57-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wheatmore advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to face the Cougars in a match on Thursday, January 9. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 6-6. Southwestern Randolph lost 56-35 in their recent non-league match against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
